Call for papers 

Authors are invited to submit full technical papers covering the topics of the workshop or related fields. Presentations of recent scientific results, developments or work in progress are welcome. Among others, the following areas are of interest for the ASWN 2008:

Topics of interest 

   Mobile multimedia applications
   Authentication, trust, and security
   Autonomic communication and services in wireless systems
   Cooperative networks and self organising systems
   Context awareness
   Middleware for mobile services
   Mobile ad-hoc and multi-hop wireless networks
   Naming and addressing
   Peer to peer communication for infrastructure-less environments
   Performance of wireless networks and systems
   Personalised services and applications
   Platforms and services supporting ubiquitous service provisioning
   QoS profiling and pricing, end-to-end QoS
   Sensor networks and applications
   Service creation for mobile devices
   Service discovery - protocols and frameworks

  

All submitted papers will be thoroughly reviewed on quality, originality, clarity, and topical relevance. They should not have been published or submitted to another conference or journal. All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.

The proceedings are intended to be published at IEEE CPS as book with ISBN. All papers will also appear at IEEE-XploreTM and the IEEE Computer Society (CSDL) digital libraries.

Tutorial Proposals 

Please propose half-day tutorials to the technical program chairs until the full paper submission deadline. Proposals should include one page describing the tutorials content and a CV of the presenter.
